Bob Gass

Partner

Bob Gass began his development career at Centex homes, acquiring and developing over 4000 single-family lots. At Centex, Bob managed a staff of 30+ engineers, land planners and land development field superintendents.

After Centex, Bob joined Trammel Crow Residential Company, eventually becoming Managing Partner-DFW and building 3400 apartments with a staff of 20+ finance, construction, and leasing professionals. At Trammell Crow, Bob initiated a land investment business that acquired, entitled and marketed several mixed-use land tracts in DFW.

After Trammell Crow, Bob began a single-family research and consulting company in DFW. By the mid-1990’s the company had over 90 homebuilders, land developers, lenders and investors who purchased the company’s supply and demand data and attended quarterly seminars on market trends and opportunities. The company also acted as a consultant to builders, underwriting and developing long-term acquisition strategies.

Most recently, Bob began to partner with landowners who wanted to entitle their property prior to disposition in order to optimize profit and shorten the marketing process. In 2006, Bob began working with the GLO to outsource its entitlement, marketing and disposition of the raw land investments that had been acquired on behalf of the Permanent School Fund.

Bob earned his BA and MA degrees in Business from Trinity University in San Antonio. He also completed the Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program, an intensive three-month course at the Executive Education Center on the HBS campus in Boston.
In his free time, Bob finds joy spending time with his wife, kids, and young grandchildren.
