Public Reveal Fall 2016

RBJ Center Redevelopment

Momark Development has been selected, along with two other Austin Developers, to redevelop the 18-acre tract along Lady Bird Lake and I-35. The redevelopment with include a rehabilitation of the existing Rebekah Baines Johnson tower, as well as adding new for-sale, for-rent, market-rate and affordable housing options in the highly desirable area.

The development will include vast amounts of public green space, several community gathering venues, access to the lake, trails, and transit, and protected panoramic views of downtown, south and east Austin. RBJ will be the first multi-generational, mixed-income community in Austin, and will reflect all of the goals of the City’s Imagine Austin Program (http://www.austintexas.gov/imagineaustin). Imagine Austin is comprehensive plan that envisions a better Austin, utilizing urban design principals to create a city that is desirable to live, work, and play.
